SYNOPSIS
Precisely ten years ago when author Gerhard Roth initiated the erection of a huge, international centre for arts and culture in the middle of the country in the small town St. Ulrich am Greith, many thought that this would never work so far from the large urban centres. In the meantime “Greith Haus“, erected by star architects Szyszkowitz-Kowalski, has become a household word in the international art world and a symbol of Styrian cultural life with the slogan “In the centre of the periphery”. Here, where no one expects it, exciting, cosmopolitan art is on offer away from the major cities.
