SYNOPSIS

Whether during mountain sports, skiing or as mountain farmers and hosts of alpine huts: Women have become an integral part of the alpine world. That is why, for example, the Hans Berger Haus in Kaisertal near Kufstein is one of the most popular alpine huts in Austria, one operated by a woman. The climbers and the wanderers all sing praises about the cooking of hostess Silvia Huber. The associated school for mountain climbers offers a special program, the “The wild Kaiser female – The women-mountain-project”. For many years the tourism expert and mountain hiking guide Silvia Huber has endeavoured to get more women actively involved in the mountain world. And the selection of her team shows that she has succeeded. The film “The wild Kaiser and wild Kaiser females” shows that ever more women are entering the mountain world.
